PAUL VILLENEUVE
PRESIDENT, HEAD COACH
For the past 30 years, Paul has been part of various local baseball organizations. He was with East Nepean Little League for 7 years before leading the Ottawa Nepean Canadians 18U team for 3 years. After 2 more years with East Nepean, Paul helped form the Ottawa Royals Baseball Club and coached the 14U team for 4 years before joining South Ottawa Little League in 2013. Paul’s teams regularly qualified for provincial championships, making it to the provincial finals several times and the Canadian Championships in 2000. Paul has also spent an incredible amount of time organizing clinics and fall ball programs for kids of all ages.
A beloved and well respected member of the Ottawa Baseball Community, Paul Villeneuve serves as President of the Ottawa Patriots Baseball Club, bringing a deep-rooted passion for the game and a clear vision for the club’s growth and development.
A strong advocate for high-performance training, community engagement, and athlete-first programming, Paul oversees all aspects of club operations—from strategic planning and coach development to partnerships and league coordination. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and a commitment to building pathways for young athletes to succeed both on and off the field.
Under Paul’s guidance, the Ottawa Patriots have expanded their programs, strengthened community ties, and continued to provide a positive, competitive environment for players across the 15U, 16U, and 18U levels. His dedication to the club and the broader Ottawa baseball community reflects a lifelong commitment to growing the game at the grassroots and elite levels.
