Our Program
The Ottawa Patriots have provided a competitive baseball program in the Ottawa area for the past six years at the Bantam (15U) and Midget (18U) levels. For the 2023 season, we will be adding a team at the 16U level.
We pride ourselves in providing outstanding competitive baseball opportunities along with expert skills training and coaching. We focus on player development and ensure all team members play. We understand our players enjoy competitive baseball but also want to play regularly. The only way for players to improve is to get on the field and participate in games.
Our program consists of a fall season, winter training session and a spring/summer season:
Play in Competitive Leagues:
Our 15U teams play a 28-30 game season against top competition in the Montreal-based League Baseball Inter-Cité Métropolitaine (LBICM). Half of those games are played at home in Ottawa. The league operates under the guidelines of Baseball Quebec, and the Ottawa Patriots are also recognized under Baseball Ontario.
In 2019-2020, the Patriots were the league champions at the 15U level and reached the playoff finals at the 18U level.
Our 16U and 18/19U teams play in the Montreal-based Can-Am United Baseball League.
Tournaments and Exhibition Games: Each team will play two to three tournaments in Canada and in the United States and in many exhibition games during the season.
High-level Skills Training: We have a fully outfitted indoor baseball training facility and winter program, including strength and conditioning training, with high-level instruction offered by elite coaches with professional baseball experience. Regular practices are scheduled during the outdoor baseball season.
